Description
For all the challenges of retail, Datalogic offers the Magellan 3550HSi built-in scanner. As a high-performance imager, it not only captures 1D and 2D barcodes, but also complete images and documents, as well as Digimarc barcodes. These codes consist of a watermark barcode and are integrated in the packaging design – this eliminates the need to search for the barcode during the payment process and saves time.
The Magellan 3550HSi confirms successful scans visually by LED, or acoustically via the built-in speaker. For optional connections, including additional handheld scanners, an RS-232 port is available, as well as a USB and a microSD card slot. Remote administration is also possible via OPOS, JavaPOS or Toshiba Remote Management. Robust stainless steel housing and the absence of moving parts ensure a long service life - which is additionally supported by a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. An optional Customer Service Scanner (CSS) allows you to read digital discount stamps and vouchers directly from your smartphone - without having to take the device out of your hand.
