The slim OMNIKEY 5027 from HID is a modern smart card reader with a native user interface that requires no additional driver installation. Its high performance makes it suitable for standard, thin and zero client solutions and supports a wide range of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, MacOS and Android. Thanks to its compact design, the OMNIKEY 5027 fits into almost any working environment and is expandable with optional mounting accessories.
The OMNIKEY 5027 is certified for worldwide use. It enables the use of existing access control credentials based on keyboard wedge and supports high frequency tokens such as iCLASS Seos, iCLASS SE, MIFARE Classic, MIFARE DESFire, EV1 and NFC. The smart card reader is pre-configured for fast output of common credentials and easily customised using a workbench tool or configuration file. A card holder and colour kits with up to six additional colours are available as options.
