Description
The Honeywell IH40 is a particularly ergonomic and easy-to-use UHF RFID reader for Honeywell mobile terminals in retail, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing transportation and logistics, including the CT40, CT45, EDA51, EDA51K, CT60 and CT60 XP, among others.
In addition to its fast and efficient reading performance with a standard reading range of up to 6 m, the IH40 also offers incredibly easy connection via USB. The Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 interface also ensures reliable wireless connectivity and secure data transmission. Support for EPC Gen2 Rain further enhances reading performance.
The 4,000 mAh battery of the IH40 ensures plenty of power for the entire workday. When fully charged it features a runtime of more than 15 hours – that's almost two full shifts in a row. However, if even more power is still needed, it is easily replaced with a charged battery. This ensures nearly infinite operational readiness. Moreover, if needed, the battery may be easily recharged together with the connected data capture terminal – saving time and costs, and thereby reducing downtime to a minimum.
Additionally, the IH40 is also resistant to external influences. The housing of the RFID reader is nearly entirely protected against the ingress of dust and splash water in accordance with IP54 standards – perfect for simple cleaning work. It also withstands multiple falls from a height of up to 1.2 m without any problems. Even non-condensing humidity of 5 to 95 percent or major temperature differences are no challenge for the IH40. During operation, it withstands temperatures ranging from -10 to +40 °C and even from -20 to +60 °C during storage.
