Description

The EikonTouch 710 from HID Global is a reader for scanning fingerprints in very fine quality. It is suitable for numerous areas of application, such as mobile and stationary PC access control. Featuring capacitive technology, the scanned fingerprints may be checked for access rights on-board. The user's ID data is therefore secure – just as secure as the PCs which the EikonTouch 710 protects against unauthorised access. The reader also meets the US standard FIPS 201 PIV.
The EikonTouch 710 captures both dry and moist fingerprints. Even rough skin is no problem for it, so the device also reliably works in the winter. Depending on the requirements of the usage area you receive it with a 50 or 182.88 cm long cable, as well as with a USB 2.0 or micro USB interface. Connection is quick and easy, since the EikonTouch 710 supports Windows, Linux and Android. It also has a compact form factor and is operable in a wide temperature range between 0° to +40 °C. What do all these qualities result in: users enjoy high area of usage flexibility with the EikonTouch 710.
