Because of a new regulatory requirement, Datalogic must now supply all pre-checked Magellan scanner scales sold into the EU with a remote display. This requires a small price increase and represents a major change. To help you make the transition as smooth as possible, Datalogic has developed several strategies:

1. All pre-checked scanners/scales sold into the EU are now equipped with displays, regardless of whether the part number specifies it.

2. The current Finished Goods Inventory (FGI) will be revised in the factories so that all orders shipped after the 4th of April will comply with the new regulation.

3. Datalogic understands that your customers typically do not order a display, because they have a different method of displaying weight. Therefore, they are not required to use the displays and are not required to change their method of weight indication.

Please note: Already checked scanners/scales installed in a store are not affected by this change. However, new pre-checked SS part numbers may no longer be made with the »No Display« label.
