Elo support – cleaning & disinfection procedures for touchdisplays
The current health situation requires each individual to comply with all hygiene regulations and to protect his neighbors as best as possible. Elo would also like to contribute to the current situation by educating you about the recommended cleaning and disinfection procedures for Elo touchscreens.
In brief, cleaning and disinfecting the equipment is a two-step process. The first step is to remove dirt, grease, dust, and other contaminants. In the second step, the devices are disinfected with the following disinfectant solutions, as recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):
- Household bleaching solution (1/3 cup of bleach per 3 ¾ liters of water)
- Isopropyl alcohol (≤ 70 % alcohol)
